We had to cancel our resv at Wickinnish Inn do to our time slot, but we ended up a winner. We sat at the bar and were treated like royalty by our bar tender who did not leave us a stray. We dined on the octopus (wow) - the fish of the day and had amazing wine and cocktails (highly recommend the Good night). Make reservations - and come hungry - you will want to try out so many things on the amazing menu.

First off, make reservations! We came here in May, when most of the rest of the town was very quiet. But here, all the tables were full, for two sittings. And deservedly so. The appetizer we had, the Octopus, was very tender, not chewy as you might get elsewhere. We had the Pork and the Beef tenderloin for meals. Both were very sizable portions, and were cooked very nicely. The pork was nicely done, and was moist, not dry. The tenderloin was cooked as requested, and tasted quite good as well. Can't tell you about dessert since
we didn't try any because we were full from dinner.

An inviting spot in the heart of Ucluelet with an innovative and locally sourced menu, warm and genuine service, and a great menu for anyone who loves food.

We had the Black Cod and the Halibut loin. It was wonderful. If you eat out only once in Ucluelet - you want to eat here. Highly recommend you try a wine pairing from BC. Chef/owner Richard Norward is such a friendly guy and wonderfully talented chef.

Came in late as a walkin and managed to snag the chefs table. The service Krista provided was above and beyond, She was absolutely fantastic and her knowledge and recommendations were appreciated. The chefs were on point during the whole experience taking the time to explain the dishes that were flying of the line. The whole evening was phenomenal!!! the Food, The wine, The atmosphere.. Norwood's does it right. We will be back!
